Working within unionized settings can be a source of mutual strength when each party knows what the expectations are and has the tools to work within the clear boundaries that have been established. For some unionized not-for-profits, this is a reality that feels unattainable due to various barriers beyond management’s control and oftentimes the natural challenges prevalent in the work we do. This training teaches the foundational pillars of managing within unionized settings, to help work with unionized staff more effectively and efficiently, beginning from the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
