THTC Membership

This is an annual membership. The membership period runs from January 1 to December 31 of the current year.

The Toronto Hostels Training Centre (THTC) is a registered charity and as such reports to a Board of Directors and follows Bylaws as per Corporations Canada requirements.

These Bylaws determine, along with the THTC Membership Committee, whether an agency qualifies to be a member of the Training Centre.

Agency membership fee is $150. Individual membership fee is $50.

Methods of payment accepted are:

  • agency cheque, certified cheque or money order
  • interac is available – onsite only

GETTING STARTED

An agency or individual has two options to obtain membership – either online or via mail.If your option is to mail in your application, please submit a completed Membership Form and cheque payable to the “Toronto Hostels Training Centre” and mail it along with your membership form to:

MEMBERS WILL RECEIVE

  • a reduced training rate of $10.00 per person per workshop,
  • e-mail notifications detailing training calendar information and updates

REMINDERS

  • The agency’s/individual’s voting or non-voting status will be confirmed once the membership application has been reviewed.
  • Membership fees must be received before the time of the workshop registration in order for the reduced training rate to be applied.
  • * THTC PayPal Refund policy. THTC will not be held financially responsible and will not provide refunds for over payment i.e. member/affiliate rate vs. non-member/non-affiliate rate.
  • It is the responsibility of the registrant to be aware of any fee discounts to which they may be entitled, based on the course taken or on their agency’s affiliations.
  • As a reminder, THTC does not back date membership rates. The cancellation and re-registration of paid workshops in order to apply the membership rate will not be accepted.
  • THTC does not refund membership fees. If you are unsure about becoming a member and require more information, please contact the Office Administrator before submitting your request.
