Instructor Opportunities

The Toronto Hostels Training Centre offers Training Opportunities for Instructors.

If you are interested in facilitating a workshop for the Toronto Hostels Training Centre, submit the following in writing to the Executive Director at tracy@thtcentre.com for presentation to the Committee:

  1. Outline and description of the workshop(s) content
  2. What participants will gain from attending the workshop(s)
  3. Length of the workshop(s) proposed
  4. Brief biography of the facilitator(s)
  5. Facilitator(s) fee for the workshop(s) provided
  6. Facilitator references

We appreciate your interest, however, only those applicants selected for an interview will be contacted.

MORE INFORMATION

If possible, the Executive Director and/or members of the Curriculum Committee will observe the potential instructor in a presentation/teaching capacity in advance of being contracted by the Toronto Hostels Training Centre.

The Curriculum Committee may require further information/clarification. Not all workshops/instructors are approved.

All decisions are made in collaboration with Committee. The considered instructor will be notified of the decision by the Executive Director and/or their designate.

The trainer hiring covers the prospective calendar term only; there is no guarantee instructors will be re-hired for future calendar sessions.

All future training contracts depend upon the instructor’s performance rating, topic popularity and sector trends.
