In our society, aging in place is not just a matter of comfort; it’s a fundamental aspect of preserving dignity, autonomy, and community connections for our older population. This workshop offers a unique social service perspective on empowering individuals to age gracefully and safely within their own homes.

Drawing on insights from social services, community outreach, and advocacy, this workshop goes beyond physical modifications to explore the holistic needs of aging individuals. Through a combination of interactive discussions, case studies, and practical exercises, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the social, emotional, and practical aspects of aging in place.
